KNOW ABOUT THE TPS FOR VENEZUELA IN LOS ANGELES
Although it is not the final way to achieve permanent status in the United States, Venezuelans have celebrated the designation by the Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro N. Mayorkas, to grant Temporary Protected Status (TPS). The new TPS designation for Venezuela allows Venezuelan citizens (and non-nationals who last resided in Venezuela) who are currently residing in the United States to submit initial applications for TPS, provided they meet the eligibility requirements.

IMPORTANT UPDATES REGARDING THE 2020 VERSION OF THE CIVIC EDUCATION EXAM
On December 1, 2020, USCIS implemented a revised version of the civics test for naturalization (“civics test 2020”). Due to recent policy changes, some applicants who are required to take the 2020 civics exam may now have the option of taking the 2020 civics exam or the 2008 civics exam. Please note that beginning As of April 19, 2021, USCIS will only offer the 2008 version of the civics test at the initial interview appointment, regardless of the date you submit your application.
